S.R. Appavu, a.k.a. Bob, is an illustrator, writer, and cartoonist specializing in collectible product design and sequential art.  A graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design, Bob has worked as both a full product developer and a product design freelancer creating holiday products for dozens of major licenses including Classic Disney, Peanuts, Hello Kitty, Betty Boop, Precious Moments, Coca-Cola, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and more.

Bob is the creator of the long-running webcomic Demon of the Underground and its companion novel trilogy, funded through a successful Patreon campaign.  Their humor comic was featured by Tumblr’s official Year in Review as one of the top webcomic posts of 2015.  They have also won an Elisa Rolle Rainbow Award for LGBTQ cover art.

Bob, a nature and animal lover, lives in the Chicago suburbs with their rescued budgie and ferrets.
